Guidance Counselors review PSAT results in class

Parents and students attend Financial Aid Night; please see the Guidance Office for date and time or see school website

Guidance Counselors will assist students registering for SAT and ACT Exams (online or paper registration)

Guidance Counselor and students select courses for senior year


March
Guidance Counselors will introduce the college planning book to students

Parents and students use online college search engines to match colleges with individual needs (please see the college planning guide for specific sites)

Guidance Counselors will assist students registering for May SAT and/or ACT
Exams

Parents and students visit
colleges while they are in session

Students look for summer jobs, internships, volunteer positions, or learning programs
that may apply to future plans

Students take SAT I or II Exams


Summer
Students register for Fall SAT Exams

Parents and students continue visiting colleges

Students and parents finalize college list and request applications

Students begin to record thoughts for college application essays


Guidance Counselors will assist parents
 and students in areas  needed to aid in
