 Cancellations.com is a free service that Wallkill CSD has taken advantage of over the last few years. Beyond our district web site and broadcast media delay and closing notifications, we voluntarily utilize this service as well. Community members may subscribe to the service and receive email and text notifications of WCSD postings.
Web-based notification systems are highly dependent upon an intact power & communications grid. In the event of widespread outages, it is likely that these web services will be rendered inaccessible, and we encourage families to have a backup plan in place.
