Teacher Bio

Mrs Contzius: 

Mrs. Contzius is a native of Ulster County. After graduating from Rondout Valley High School she went on to earn a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Western Connecticut State University. After graduating she returned to her Alma Mater as Rondout Valley's High School Band Director from 2004 - 2006. She received her Masters Degree in Humanistic Multicultural Education from SUNY New Paltz in 2009.

Mrs. Contzius has been a part of the Wallkill High School Music Department for the past 4 years. Mrs. Contzius' devotion to music gives her the motivation to perform her saxophone in multiple ensembles throughout the county. She greatly looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that the Wallkill Music Department is known for. She also has the three craziest cats in the world:  Leia, Alex and Supera.....
