About Wallkill...

The Wallkill Central School District is located in both Orange and Ulster County with Administrative Offices in the hamlet of Wallkill.  Residents of the District enjoy the advantages of a beautiful environment combined with a location midway between New York City and Albany on the western side of the Hudson River.

The Beacon rail station offers an easy commute by train to New York City.  Historic landmarks in the area include West Point and George Washington's Headquarters with colleges such as SUNY New Paltz, Marist, Vassar and Mount Saint Mary close by.  Outdoor recreation areas include the Mohonk Preserve as well as the Shawangunk mountains, surrounded by fertile farmlands of the Hudson River Valley.
