Wallkill Central School District uses ParentSquare as our primary platform for school communication. Families receive messages through email, app, voice, or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved.
An account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information in our student information system. We encourage you to activate your account to download the free mobile app, set your language preferences, and choose how and when you’d like to receive messages.
What you can do with ParentSquare:
Read your notifications via email, app, or text
Receive district-wide news as well as building-specific updates tailored to their child(ren)
Choose to get posts as they’re shared or bundled in a daily digest
View posts, photos, calendars, and important announcements
Communicate in your preferred language with automatic translation

Self Sign Up
Using the ParentSquare website, Users can generate an account activation email/ text to register their account.
- Visit https://www.parentsquare.com/signin
- Under Register, enter Email or Cell Phone Number. You must use the same email/phone you provided to your school.
- Click Get Started.
- If the email/phone matches the information in ParentSquare, user receives an account activation email/text to register.
Opting out of communication ParentSquare
Dear Parents/Guardians,
ParentSquare is the district’s primary communication platform, designed to keep families informed and connected with their child’s school. While we encourage all families to remain subscribed to receive important updates, we understand that you may wish to adjust your notification preferences.
If you would like to opt out of ParentSquare notifications, please use the following options:
· Email Notifications:
Click the “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of any ParentSquare email to stop all email, text, app notifications, and School Alerts.
· Text Messages:
Reply “STOP” to any ParentSquare text message to opt out of future text communications.
Please note that Urgent Alerts cannot be turned off and will always be delivered to ensure you receive critical, time-sensitive information.
If you prefer to customize your notification settings rather than fully opt out, you may do so by logging into your ParentSquare account and adjusting your preferences.
