Public Comment Period on the Updated 2020-2021 District-Wide School Safety Plan - February 5, 2021
The Wallkill Central School District has updated its 2020-2021 District-Wide Safety Plan to reflect legislation signed into law by Governor Cuomo in September 2020. The new legislation requires the adoption of a response plan for health emergency events involving a communicable disease.
The District-Wide Safety Team met and reviewed the updates to the 2020-2021 District-Wide Safety Plan, and a thirty (30) day public comment period is in effect now through Monday, March 8, 2021. A Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., prior to the Board of Education meeting.
